Theory of Quantum Circuits & Materials
A theoretical research group at LSU working at the exciting intersection of superconducting quantum devices and quantum materials. Their overarching goal is to pioneer new applications of quantum circuits and materials for superconducting quantum information devices and information processing. Their current research interests in pursuit of this goal include the development of novel superconducting qubit designs with inbuilt error-protection, the development of high-fidelity quantum gate protocols, and the use of quantum materials for the design of highly-tunable quantum-limited parametric amplifiers. They also closely collaborate with multiple experimental research laboratories in the United States and in Europe.
